Larry Shutes – Non-Executive Chairman
Larry was appointed as non-executive Director in 2005. Larry brings extensive financial experience to the Board of FarmWorks at a time when the company is expanding its footprint in the Agribusiness sector in Australia. He is a chartered accountant with extensive experience as both an executive and non-executive director in small to mid-sized market capitalisation companies. He was previously Director Property Finance with Chase Corporation a major Australian and New Zealand Property and Equities firm. This was followed by a period of approximately 15 years with a public relations group and the finance arm of a major Australian media group. Larry is an experienced director with special expertise in company structuring, finance, accounting and corporate governance.
Kevin Dart – Non-Executive Director
Kevin was appointed as non-executive Director in 2009. Kevin is a director with 23 years experience at Charter Pacific Corporation Limited which is a diversified investment company listed on the ASX. Kevin has been on the boards of public companies for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in capital raisings, new listings, mergers and acquisitions, as well as cross border transactions in United States, United Kingdom, Asia and India. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mathew Denton – Non-Executive Director
Mathew was appointed as non-executive Director in September 2010. He is a highly experienced agribusiness professional having spent over 23 years with the largest Rural retailer in Australia. He performed a variety of roles which culminated in his role as General Manager of Merchandise Australia, which had a turnover of $1.2b, 1000 staff and over 285 key profit centres. Since leaving that business in 2007 he set up his own management support business and has acted for some of the largest agribusinesses both domestically and internationally. Mathew currently serves as Chairman for Seed Genetics Australia and is on the advisory boards for the Mary Potter Foundation, Supro Solutions and CloudNet. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
